personal representative regarding property

Through joint tenant deed i now own home i live in after mother's death. however my name's not on mortgage. i'm also in mother's will as personal representative. mortgage co will not co-operate by endorsing check sent by home owners insurance to a contractor. i provided check with proper info re name & death certificate info , also my name as personal rep. mortgage co wants legal document that i am executive to mother's estate. how do i go about doing this & is it necessary if i am listed on the deed as owner & in will as obtaining ownership to home?

It appears that the concern the mortgage company has is that only the will requests you be the personal rep, not a probate court having appointed you and provided the Letters of Authority. I would recommend that you contact an attorney and see about opening a probate estate to settle this matter and any creditor claims that may be part of your mother's estate.
