This is not such a simple question. If there is no health issues and you are single yes. If you are married or there are health issues, no. The reason being that a home in a Revocable Living Trust is a countable asset for Nursing Home benefits. For a married couple you could lose the creditor protection that is provided by a husband and wife deed.

There is a better way to accomplish this and that is a lady bird deed. Call to discuss it is difficult to explain here.

You should transfer all of your assets into your Revocable Living Trust. One of the reasons to have a Trust is to biapass probate. If you don't transfer the assets and don't have a pourover will your heirs may have to go to probate.
