Don Rosenberg

Principal Partner [email protected] Don L. Rosenberg is a shareholder of the law firm Barron, Rosenberg, Mayoras & Mayoras and has been practicing law for over thirty years. In 2001, he helped found three special divisions of the firm: The Center for Elder Law, The Center for Special Needs Planning and The Center for Probate Litigation. His practice is limited to specializing in issues concerning disability, estate, long term care, nursing home, Medicaid and special needs planning. He is the President/Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer�s Association - Greater Michigan Chapter and has been for the last 5 years and member of the Association's executive committee; Member of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and have been listed since 1991 in the Academy's Experience Registry. He is also past Chair of the Governing Council of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan, a Charter Member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners and Member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit. He has been named in 2012 and has been selected in years 2009, 2010 and 2011 as a "Superlawyer" which designates that he is in the top 5% of lawyers in the country in my field. He is also an accredited attorney with the US Department of Veterans and was recently selected once again In 2012 by Hour Detroit and Dbusiness Magazines as 5 Star Wealth Manager in the area of estate planning and received the award for the years 2011 and 2012. Finally, Don has Co-authored and published with Home Instead Senior Care: Alzheimer�s Disease and Related Dementia�s: a Guidebook for Care, Comfort, Legal and Financial Security, June, 2008. He has been featured in Detroit News, Crain�s Detroit Business, the Oakland Press and the Detroit Free Press.
