Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Child Jurisdiction changes

I was divorced in MN the original jurisdiction of the children is also in MN. I have sole physical custody. A year ago I moved with my children to New York with the written permission of my ex-husband. How can I change the jurisdiction of the children? Or can I change it to the state of New York so that I do not have to continue going back to MN?

Jurisdiction has changed

If your children have lived in NY for one year then jurisdiction is in New York now. If you need the help of the courts just talk to an attorney or apply to your local Family Court.
