Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

The Word Abuse Should Apply To Ex-Parte OFP

I would like to know why it is so easy for a woman to have her husband and father of her child removed just by saying.. I am in great fear for my life and my childs life.. without any proof at all? This Ex-Parte Order For Protection is used as a very easy and powerfull way to get rid of someone. Why is there no checks and balances here? And to top it all off many fathers are ordered to attend an anger mgmt class witch is of no help at all. In fact an anger mgmt class will further the anger by forcing someone to do something that is against their will. Family court is very bias and they seem to have no regard at all for the foundation of the American family. Fathers are treated as ATM machines thats about it. Whats needed here is to support fathers as much as mothers. I need a lawyer who will stand for whats right and help make me a part of my daughters life once again. I will never attend an anger mgmt class. I was not the one who did an angry thing she was! Lets hope there is at least one lawyer who knows whats going on is very wrong and will do something about it once and for all.

Ex-parte Orders are supposed to be temporary. They can be overcome by thorough preparation and a hearing.

In too many cases, some parents use the FC TOP as a ploy for the opening round of a divorce case, to gain a tactical advantage.

As frustrating as this is, giving up is worse. Suggest you consult with an experienced matrimonial attorney to strategize this case and learn your options. The possiblity of settlement should always be considered.
