Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Fathers rights

I have been paying child support for 8 years. I lost contact with the child, I have recently found them. I contacted my childs mother and she said I can not have my 50% custody as the court order said. Now I want to take her to court for either getting my parental rights enforced, or for them to drop support on me, is this possible?
