Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

Can I move out at age 16 with out parental consent. I understand that they can get in trouble due to my actions. But my question is what happens if you move out at age 16 and your parents decide to call the police. What could happen.

Hello. You may face legal issues. If you want to leave you should consider emancipation.

No. You may bot legally relocate until you reach the age of 18 or are emancipated by a court. Police may return you to the family home if requested by the parent.
