Suponea Process

My son is pro se in proceedings to gain custody of his son. He needs to suponea certain people for court on his behalf. What documents does he need? What is the procedure to have this done?

A subpoena is acquired from the court administrator in the county where the case is filed. There is fee for the subpoena. It must be peronallyserved, usually by sheriff, by a non party.
