Legal Question in Family Law in Minnesota

My wife and I are currently working through a divorce. My wife had 3 adopted children when we met. Due to expenses incurred through potential adoption we decided that I not legally adopt those children. Can the court consider those adopted children when factoring what my legal obligation is in terms of support for the one biological child my wife and I have together.

If you did not adopt the children, they are not legally your own, as a result, they should not be an obligation under child support guidelines.
