If my grandma had no will and left me her life estate, does that include her personal items?

I am sorry to hear about your grandmother. A life estate is an interest in property during one's lifetime. Once your grandmother died her interest was gone. Your grandmother could not have "left [you] her life estate." So it would not include personal items.

Perhaps you did not word your question correctly.
