Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Missouri

I have a civil judgment (a credit card company was the plaintiff) on Missouri's casenet from 2005. Subsequently the record also appears on my credit report. My question is will the lawsuit/record on casenet remain on there forever? Or will it disappear after a time period (like how it will fall off my credit report later this year since it's been 7 years).

One cannot say forever. But, for now, their appears to be no intention to remove any cases.

First of all, if you pay the amount due under the judgment (with interest, and probably court costs) then the creditor must file a "Satisfaction of Judgment", which should show up on Casenet. Sometimes it is even possible to "settle" the judgment for less than the total amount owed, and if you do this then the creditor would file a "Satisfaction of Judment". Any creditor checking your record on casenet would see that and it might take some of the sting out of having the judgment against you iin the first place.
