An SIS is a type of probation where you plea guilty to the offense, but as long as you complete the terms, an SIS will not result in a conviction showing on your record. And short of getting a pardon from the govenor, the only time you can have your record expunged is if the charge against you was an alcohol related offense and it has been 10 years or if the charge was MIP and it has been one year. There are other requirement to either of those scenarios but I don't think they would apply to you because you stated you pled guilty to a felony. One of the requirements you have to meet in order to have an arrest record expunged is that charges were not brought, which is also not the case. Generally speaking, if you don't fit into a few very narrow categories, you cannot just pay the court to get a felony "completely off" your record. Having said all that, once you complete your SIS probation, your record becomes a closed record and inaccessible to the public.
