Legal Question in Criminal Law in Missouri

What is the next step I should take...I broke up with a boyfriend and he burned my house down, I got an order of protection which he has broken and finally been arrested for (only to immediately bond out), he broke his conditions of bond and finally was arrested...only to post bond again and again walk right back out. The very next day he was at my moms again! I'm afraid for my life and feel like I'm a sitting duck. I don't know what other options I have. He hasn't been charged with the arson yet however the detectives have said in no uncertain terms that they know he did it too. It was set in three different places and I lost everything I owned. It burned completely to the ground. He's been violent before and its only drastically escalated.I have a child and I don't want him to become an orphan. We lived at 57 Leisure Dr. in Kirksville, MO 63501. Feel free to look at pictures to verify what I'm saying. Look at Kirksville Daily Express. Thank you in advance for any and all advice or assistance. I really don't know where to go from here. ( I'm oxygen dependent and have multiple health problems and my son suffers with Tourettes syndrome) It's been devastating and overwhelming.

It sounds like you need to sue your ex for the damages you suffered because of the fire. Perhaps the detectives will share enough information with you to prove your case. Take all your paperwork to a civil attorney in your area. Many attorneys offer a free or low cost initial consultation.

Good luck
