Legal Question in Family Law in Missouri

Gaurdianship

Is it possible to assign a guardian to my minor child in my absence, for example when I am at work, on vacation, Nation Guard Duty-in or out of town, sickness? And how do you set this up?

Re: Gaurdianship

You do not need to go to the trouble and expense of having a "guardian" appointed for your children. A Missouri statute allows you to sign a specific power of attorney (prepared by an attorney) authorizing someone of your choosing to act as parent for up to one year at a time. I have done this for several different clients. Please feel free to call me at 314-727-2822 for a free consultation. Thank you.
