Missouri Family law

Can I obtain a copy of my son's father's divorce papers/ court minutes to prove or disprove alligations of abuse.. if I cannot, can a lawyer on my behalf?

Yes, you can obtain copies of the minutes and documents contained inthe court file since they are public records if we are talking about a divorce file. You do not need an attorney to get these items. Contact the circuit court clerk's office int he county where the divorce took place, or go there yourself. There will be a charge for the copies. By the way, I would beware of attorneys who only use this site to solicit new clients such as the previous responder.
