Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

A domestic partner and I bought a house together. I want to leave the relationship, but the house is a problem for me. Neither of us can afford it alone. If I leave, she stays, and moves another partner in, do I give up my rights to the home at anytime?

The one that leaves may be entitle to 1/2 the fair market rent value of the home, as the mortgage lender can look to either of you for the house payment. If the one that leves, does not get 1/2 rental payments from the remaining gal, then she should have written agrement whereby the reamining Gal will pay the entire house payment, and eimburse her for any monies she is forced to pay to the lender.

Good luck
