Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Missouri

i live at the end of a public street in Mo. this street is not maintained by the city in over15 years. only i live on this street and the street has been used as my exclusive drive all this time can i claim this street as mine? i have had a privite drive sign on this street forall this time. but last week a zoning inspector told me i had to remove the sign andsaid i could not block the street. its just a one lane drive it was paed by the previous owner just befi ught the house. wat di hav dd claim this propertty?

There may be other ways to obtain the porperty, but many more facts woudel need to be known. You might consider purchasing the property from the city.
