Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Missouri

My father died in England, I was never notified. Being the next of kin should I have been by law?

I think his siblings have already taken any money he had. I just learned from a friend I hadn't been intouch with for some time that I died of cancer. I believe my Aunt and Uncle lied to the lawyer, what can I do?

You need to contact a solicitor in the area where your father lived. For a small fee, he may be able to investigate the estate of your father. Do not delay, as you may only have a short time in which to undo or contest what has already occurred, or to establish yoru claim to your father's holdings. in most jurisdictions, one must give a statement of the heirs at law prior to making any dispersements from a decedent's estate. I am not admitte dto any Inn of court in the UK, so I cannot advise you as to any specifics of the law in your case.

Good luck
