recovery of compensation. Does your doctor say that you will require surgery for this condition? If so, then the damage may be substantial enough to justify signing up with an attorney and taking your chances. If your condition is not that serious, then it is unlikely that an attorney would invest the time and effort needed to obtain a fair settlement or other recovery for you. I would warn you that there is a statute of limitations which will prevent you from filing your claim, if you have one, unless you do so within the time required by law.
