Legal Question in Employment Law in Montana

I worked in pod control at a prison. Radio batteries where bad for the last 3 months. I quit because of the strees of not being able to contact the officers on the floor and they couldn't contact me. The state of Montana gave me unemployment. Then 6 months later the prison contested and won. State says they didnt have all the information. Then why did they give it to me? Now the State wants thier money back. I have appealed twice and lost. I don't want to pay back all that money.

They beleive what the Captain and Asst. Warden are saying and it is not true that no one was in danger. They said the intercoms could be used. This is bull.

If you do not have a lawyer, find an attorney who emphasizes Labor and Employment law. (I do not.) At least ask an L&E attorney to review your file, and be prepared to pay the attorney for the attorney's expertise and time. You might have a case that you don't know how to properly present. You might have no grounds to continue. Either way, you will benefit from knowing rather than spinning your wheels and getting nowhere.
