Legal Question in Immigration Law in Nebraska

i have been in the USA for 10 years and married to US citizen for 5 years we have 2 kids and i have tried to start the process but they said that i clamed to be a US citizen when i got introble with the law. What eles can i do?

If a foreign individual claimed to be a US citizen, it makes him ineligible for any immigration benefits.

It's not clear: when and how did you claim to be a US citizen? who told you that you claimed and therefore ineligible? have you ever applied for any immigration benefits whether through your marriage or otherwise? how did you come to USA? do you have criminal record?
