Legal Question in Consumer Law in Nevada

Vin Verification

I purchased a Motorcycle from RideNow PowerSports in November 2008. In late January 2009 I was notified that the motorcycle was from a different state and they did not take it to the DMV for a VIN Verification prior to selling it to me. I no longer want this vehicle due to the fact it was not properly documented prior to the sale. Can I return the bike without major consequences since it was an out of state vehicle that was not VIN verified prior to it's sale? What are my options? I've attempted to call the location I purchased the bike from and they will not return my calls.

Re: Vin Verification

I believe that you will have to show some damages. Is it the wrong model type, could you not register it, or something other than the VIN being wrong.
