Legal Question in Family Law in Nevada

Divorce in NV but what about children for a jurisdiction in WA?

My soon to be ex and I are wanting to get a quick divorce in Nevada, but we have a child together and need to get a child jurisdiction for Washington. How does this work? Please help.

You would have to do two legal procedures so why go to all that trouble and expense when you can get the whole thing done here in WA? You couldn't be divorced by the end of th eyear in WA at this point but you coul dbe divorced, if you both agree on everything, within 90 days of filing the case, probably late February or early March 2004. Too much hassle to do it with two procedures.
