Legal Question in DUI Law in New Hampshire

arraignment

my son was in an oui /car accident no one was hurt was arraingned while still under the influence.......i thought most of time you get to sober up and get a call............he is now in jail and many people there have not even been arraigned

OUI with an accident involved is a very serious charge. Are you sure he was arraigned? Generally they will have a bail hearing and the arraignment will be a week or so later so he can decide if he wishes to hire an attorney. The facts you presented are very limited and it is difficult to be more precise. As information is aded or modified, my response is likely to change.
