Most of the Motor Vehicle departments across the country exchange data. If you lose your driving rights in New Hampshire it is highly likely that Rhode Island will take your right to drive away for an equal period of time.

Re: Dui

It depends. If you get a dui in New hampshire and have a Rhode Island license, then New Hampshire can only suspend your privilege to operate a motor vehicle in New Hampshire as a result of the DUI / DWI. New Hampshire may send notice to Rhode Island. If they send the notice to Rhode Island then Rhode Island (RI) will begin proceedings to suspend your License in RI Rhode Island. It is possible that New Hampshire will not send notice to Rhode Island and Rhode Island will not attempt to supend your license. Some states are very lax at sending the info to other states.
