Legal Question in DUI Law in New Hampshire

1st offense, time 2am, rural road, no traffic, driver - female 21 years old sustained injuries. vehicle totaled, no other vehicle involved, no other individuals or injuries involved, property damage to country stone wall - height 3 feet high, lenght 10-15 feet wide.

question - is criminal penalty an automatic loss of license? are additional penalties applicable?

The answer to your question is yes! There is a mandatory loss of license, a significant fine, a requirement to attend an alcohol education program at your own expense, and a signficant increase in and requirement for proof of insurance.

Given that there was personal injury, the police may determine to charge a more serios offense.

I suggest that hiring an attorney to review all of the facts would be a good idea.
