Assuming this is a first offense, you are likely to have your license suspended for 6 months, with some courts allowing you to get it back sooner if you complete a driver education program. In addition to the loss of license, you will pay a substantial fine and will have to provide proof of financial responsibility for three years. Your insurance rates will go up substantially. Additionally, you will likely have a criminal record.

These are general guidelines. The particular circumstances of your case should be reviewed by your own attorney to determine if there are other circumstances which might lead to a greater or different penalty.
