Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Hampshire

Purchasing A Mobile Home

I want to know what the law is for ''rent to own'' evictions when there is no written agreement. It isn't really rent to own. I was buying a mobile home and gave $6500.00 down cash on $10,000 home. I have given hime another $200.00. We had said that I might be able to afford $200.00 monthly. The guy said that he would have some papers drawn up and never did. Today he has brought me eviction notice. There was a lot that was never disclosed about the place either. Safety violations (ie, hole under stove in kitchen floor so that you can see the ground, leaky roof in laundry room so the wall bows out and there is mold problem, soft floors, constant leak in hot water in bathroom which skyrocketed the electricity, fuel tank to heat the place is so old and has so much sludge it gels up and messed up the furnace, and he never lived up to the fact of what was going to be included when he showed the place. He was going to buy a new stove cause the one he had was unsafe and only 2 burners worked, a clubhouse in the yard. Rodent infested because of hole in the floor in the kitchen. Lots of this was never found out until after living there a while. What are the laws to evict on this?

Re: Purchasing A Mobile Home

This sounds strangely like a case I just had against a landlord on a mobile home. You need to talk to a alwyer in person to determine your rights. It can't be done by just an e-mail. It might be possible for a lawyer to sue under RSA 358-A if this is a business run by the seller and a victory could include attorney's fees.
