Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Hampshire
my dad passed and didn't leave a will. His current wife collected life insurance and she thought everything else and told me and my sister that we would not get anything. She just found out my dad left her name off the house and car. She is trying to get us to sign a (petition for estate administration?). Me and my sister live in CO and they live in NH. She is talking about probate and i am just a bit confused on the laws and if i sign theses papers if i will still get part of the estate.
