Legal Question in Workers Comp in New Hampshire

How do I survive financially if I pursue workmans comp denial hearing?

I injured my shoulder in Vermont from repetitive motion. I had physical therapy and changed job positions to something that wasn't repetitive. It got better to the point of no pain. They said it was tendonitis. I moved to New Hampshire and again had a repetitive job. The shoulder started bothering me and I finally went to the doctor. The rotator cuff is torn and I will have surgery in a few days. Vermont WC denied me stating it was NH problem since it was aggravation of previous but in NH now. NH WC denied me saying it started in Vermont so it's their problem. I am not financially able to pursue a hearing. Since any temp disability will be gone which is paid by my workplace. What do I do now? It clearly is work related, but how do I survive while pursuing this? Can anyone help?

It is true that you are in a tough spot (as are many legitimate claimants who face a wrongful denial of benefits). But still, do not give up on pursuing your claim. After all, that is the only way you will ever recoup what you must spend to get medical treatment and pay your bills during your disability.

When I handle a w/c case, it is always by contingent feethe client never pays me anything, and I collect a fee and get back my expenses only as a small portion of whatever the client gets.

Your claim seems to have legal merit, depending on exactly when you felt what symptoms, what treatment you got, and when you switched to a NH employer. If you want to discuss the details of how I might help you, please call me.
