Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Jersey

I am owned $750.00 for service I provide a firm. This firm is located in Va and I lives in NJ. The Vice President of this firm lives in NJ and the invoice is given to him for processing. What steps can I take to get paid?

If the firm has a legal presence in NJ in the sense that it does business here, you can sue in Small Calms Court in NJ. Otherwise you will have to sue in VA.
