All criminal offenses listed under the criminal code of New Jersey start with the notation "2C."

You are not charged under the criminal code of the State of New Jersey, but with a violation

of a municipal ordinance. From your zip code I see that you live in Newark. Therefore, you are charged with a violation of the Newark muncipal code, a petty offense. As a first offender, with

aggravating circunstances, you will jnot go to jail, so long as you do not have a prior criminal history. You need to speak with an attorney abourt pleading guilty or going to trial.

Call me if you like.
