Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I am currently on probation. I was sentenced to 2 years and have completed 1 year 3 months. I have been told that I can file a Motion to Terminate Probation, Pro Say cause I can not afford the attorney fee my original attorney wants who handled my case.

I was informed that I must file this motion in the court and county I was sentenced in, my question is: What is the process of filing this motion? Do I need to know the law to do so and is it a simple form to fill out? After I fill out the Motion Paperwork do I request a Court Date and Time or is that scheduled after the paperwork is processed. I am so confused cause I am getting different answers from people. I wish I had the money to hire an attorney so I could have representation but unfortuantely I dont.

Thank you for you help in this matter.

Did you get some quotes from an attorney. I am sure there is a good attorney out that that you can afford unless you are close to being homeless. Call my office at 732/383/6242 and let me know what you can pay. I know a few young attorneys that might be able to take the case.
