Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

Unlawful Arrest

Twice in the same location i have been arrested. The last incident i was dropped of at the location by my mother. I was there for five minutes when i decided to walk to a 711 to buy something to drink. I was waiting for my friend to get out of work. All i did was walk to the store carrying a bookbag. I walk out of the store and i'm bombarded by several officers. I was searched and they found drugs in my bag and then arrested. All i did was walk to the store where is the probable cause.

Re: Unlawful Arrest

I'm sure the cops have another story and I'm not saying that they are telling the truth. Do you have the discovery? You shouldn't be worried about legal issues. Your job is to hire a good attorney. Then, let him or her worry about all of the issues.

My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340 to discuss your case.

Re: Unlawful Arrest

I would have to see the police report before I could give you a definite answer. It could be that someone informed the cops that you were carrying drugs in your book bag and they acted on that tip. Any way you look at it you need to address the drug possession charge. I would advise you to talk to your parents about this if you haven't already. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. Please contact me to discuss your case in more detail. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds,Esq.-
