answer to a motion
I answered my ex's motion per the rules of court for an upcoming hearing. Today I recieved his answer to my answer. I did not cross motion, just answered. I thought this was NOT allowed.

He is allowed a reply certification limited to respond only to your response. It should not raise any new issues since the Court Rules do not allow you to file anything further.

It is fine. Otherwise, you could say anything and it would not be refuted.
