keeping house for child

when getting a divorce do you have to lose your house, i want to keep my house until my daughter is 18, then sell and give profits to both uf us, can this happen?

The short answer is yes, it is possible. However, the fact that it is possible may not mean it's workable in your particular case. In large measure it will likely depend on your spouse's position on the issue, whether he or she agrees to delay the sale of the house to a future date. If your child is 17 then the case is easier. If your child is 6-months old, then it obviously becomes more of a problem.
