Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My wife is not on the deed to the house. My wife stopped paying her credit card debt. The card is solely in her name. Can the credit card company put a lien on my house to collect her debt?

If the debt was pre-marital, then probably not. If it was incurred during the course of the marriage, you are both liable, and they could levy against your asset (home).
