Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

My husband passed away in 2000, from what I now discovered was asbestos exposure. He worked for years in a sugar refinery in New Jersey. Is there a statue of limitations for filing a claim in New Jersey?

There is something call the "discovery" rule which is based on the idea that the statute of limitations

does not run where the negligence was only recently discovery and that reasonable inquiry by you

was made by you in a timely fashion, but the important information was somehow unavailable to youl.

Call me if you like.

You need to know whether his death was vaused by an illness linked to the exposure. If it was one of the qasbestos related illnesses, the next question is when you learnef that fact. Call me for details.
