does a spouse have the right to rent his or her husbands property if their name does not appear on the deed in new jersey

A spouse does not have any special right to deal with titled property real or personal. If you are renting property from someone, be sure that they are either the owner, the agent of the owner, or have a power of attorney. Where real property is concerned, oral agency agreements are rarely sufficient.

No, if you do not own it you can not rent it out, even if your husband or wife own it.
