What is the exact law regarding crossing a double yellow line?

Crossing a double yellow line would be a violation of NJSA 39:4-88, Failure to Maintain Traffic Lanes. This is a 2 point violation. You cannot cross it, its that simple. However, since its only 2 points, you probably don't need an attorney unless your record is really bad.
