Can I fight a ticket for NJSA 39: 3-75 (tinted windows) if I and my car are both registered and insured in PA where it's legal?

The law says "No person shall DRIVE any motor vehicle [with tinted windows]". The way the law is written does not take into account where the vehicle is registered. Therefore, in my opinion, having a vehicle registered in another state is not a defense.

you can fight it, but can you win it is the question, It is not legal in NJ and Mr. Aronds may be correct. speak to the prosecutor and see what he says. the ticket only carries a fine. maybe they will cut you a break since it is legal in your state, but again I believe that it is only a fine
