Legal Question in Traffic Law in New Jersey

I was rear ended because i came to an abrupt stop at a green light because an ambulance was coming. No one was hurt but my car had a small paint chip missing from the bumper. After a conversation with the other driver we came to the agreement to not report the accident and for him to pay me 100 dollars on the spot for what we agreed would be enough to cover the repair. No information was exchanged. Do I have any right to try to get more compensation further down the road?

Well there is no real evidence as to any agreement. However, you both failed to report the accident.
