Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New Jersey

after a parent passes away and has left a will which divides the estate equally between all surviving children, how long in the state of N.J. does the executor have to satisfy the estate. The parent was widowed and there are no liens of any kind to deal with.

There is no fixed time. However, the executor has to take action to wrap things up in a reasonable and speedy fashion.
