Legal Question in Business Law in New York
I received a summons in a civil action. a lawsuit has been filed against me and a business that no longer is in existence. filed in the us district court for the eastern district of new york. what do i need to do to answer?

You need an attorney, especially because you are sued personally. You do not want to go through life with a judgment hanging over your head. At the very least, consult with an attorney regarding the parameters of the suit.
