Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York
Well i am 16 and was caught shoplifting and the amount i stole was worth 18.20cents.The security at the stores threathened to call the cops unless i payed 5 times the amount i stole within a week.They made me sign a contract and everything that was hand written.Are they allowed to do this?
