Legal Question in Criminal Law in New York

aggravated harassment

I was accused of aggravated harassment by my current ex girlfriend. As for as I could remember, in no way did I threaten her, or put her in harms way. She cheated on me with another guy and I simply wanted to know why and sent many emails simply asking why. I am 19 and already have a past misdermeanor from about two years ago anmd really don't want anything else on my record bc I know it will mess up my future terribly. How bad can this be? what type of deal do you think the D.A might offer me? what could an attorney do/how much would they roughly cost?

Re: aggravated harassment

If you search this board you will observe just how common this charge is. Law enforcement tends to use it just to placate the complainant, screwing you in the process.

You may have a valid defense in addition to possibly never having committed the offense. Contact defense counsel ASAP. You can also contact my office to schedule a free consultation: info(at)nealspectorpc.com
