Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My ex-husband and I got divorced 11/22/10. he was ordered to pay $5,000.00 to represent half of out marital debt. he has since ceased all payment, and contact with me; and he has moved out of state. what can i do?

you must file a OSC for violation of the Order. do you know where he resides now?

You will need to file an enforcement proceeding. You may be able to get him to pay your legal fees . You should contact an attorney and have him review your divorce papers.
