Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Hi,

My name is Greg Halstead, I am a resident of Manchester-Shortsville, NY 14504. I live with my father, as I am 16 years of age. Before i ask this question i wanted to let you know a little bit about my situation. I just got out of The Villa, in Rochester, NY on January 26th, 2010. Ever since than, my father and I do not get along very good. I have lived with him in the past. There is several police reports of my father and I getting into various fights, and they have not done nothing about it. This past summer, me and my father got into an altercation about a concert that me and my girlfriend was suppose to goto. My father said at first we both can go, and her mother spent several hundred dollars on the tickets. That Thursday before the weekend, my father started in about a milk certain i forgot to throw away. And he raised his voice and said somethings that pushed my buttons, and it seamed like he didn't it on purpose. he started threatening me about how he is going to get me arrested because i raised my voice after he raised his when my little sister and little brother was around. I got mad about it and started back in with him. He told me somehting about how im not going to disrespect him in his house and shut off my cell phone that i pay for. And he wanted it in his hands, and i refused to do so. so he told me that im going to give it up, or he will beat me. and i said try your luck. he raised his voice even higher, and i got scared so i secretly call the cops while my cell phone was in my pocket. and he did not know about it. about a minuet afterwards, while 911 was listening to him yell at me, he struck me two times in the face with a closed fist and once open handed, and kicked me in the ribs while on the phone with 911 dispacter. the wouldnt do anything about it because they said a 16 year old doesnt have rights and i couldnt self defend even if i was in harms ways. i wanted to move in with my girlfriends mother as she had space, bed, dressor, and was able to support me until i graduated. In the state of New York, can i legally move out at 17 without parental permission. My mother has not been in my life for several years. would she be able to sign parental permission to move out at the age of 16 if she doesnt have custody? please if you can text me at 1(315)-719-4015 or call after 4 on weekdays as my father does not let me on computers or if he knows or hears of me contacting the outside world for help, i will be in serious trouble with my father, and it wouldnt end up good. so pelase, help me. pleaseeee.
