Legal Question in Family Law in New York

The minister who performed our wedding ceremony and signed the license may not have been a licensed minister, are we married? How do I find out if the minister was licensed?

I would contact your local county clerk, as they are responsible for maintaining records such as marriage licenses, birth and death certificates.
