shared custody
Is there any law in New York where there is shared custody. I currently have my 3 children 40% of the time but I am obligated to pay full child support as if I do not have them. How can I modify support based on the time I have them.

Under the Child Support Standards Act, the custodial parent is entitled to child support. In calculating support, the act does not specify how long or often a child is with the non-custodial parent.
